Xiaomi Reveals Three New Smartphones with a Modest Price Tag and Daring Features

Last Friday saw the unveiling of three budget smartphones from Xiaomi in a very sleek presentation. The three have a gorgeous 5-inched touchscreen and do amazing tricks. Xiaomi kept things almost untouched design-wise, however, a varied “filling” has three equally pleasant options. We have sifted through them all for you to consider which one is the best for you.

Redmi 4 vs. Redmi 4 High Edition

The company announced two versions for Redmi 4. A lower-end one features a metallic body and a speedy 13 MP camera with PDAF focusing. A 5 ″ display has a 1280×720 HD resolution with high pixel density of 293 ppi. A Snapdragon 430 Qualcomm processor is firing on all cylinders and produces compelling results while multitasking. Other standout characteristics are 2 GB RAM and 16 GB flash memory, dual SIM slot, 128 GB micro SD support, fingerprint sensor and a powerful 4100 mAh battery. Redmi 4 has all that it takes to have an enjoyable first acquaintance with Xiaomi products.

A professional version, Redmi 4 High Edition, is a treasure trove of high-end features. It is equipped with a much more powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 625, sitting under a unibody metal shell. The device doubled in memory receiving 3 GB RAM and 32 GB of storage. A 5-inch display is on board, boasting a Full HD 1920×1080 resolution with 441 ppi pixel density. Other than that, Redmi 4 High Edition has the same build as a standard model. CNC polishing and rounded edges make them look beautiful. The screens are covered with a tough and scratch-resistant 2.5D protective glass. They also share identical color scheme: gray, gold or silver. However, Redmi 4 High Edition is a better choice if you are also into gaming or want to shoot pictures like a pro.

Redmi 4A

Xiaomi Redmi 4A is another mid-range smartphone in the Redmi installment. It has a cache of talents and can make mincemeat out of your daily tasks. The gadget sports a metal embodiment with a 13 MP camera mounted on the back. Redmi 4A comes with a 5-inched display and notches the screen resolution up to HD. Fingertip sensor is not in the mix. The device runs everything with a Snapdragon 425, backed with a 2 GB RAM and 16 GB of storage. Memory is expandable with a max. 128 GB micro SD card. Redmi 4A has a battery aide for 3120 mAh. It is the lightest in the series, weighing only 131.5 gram.

And here is a comparative table for the three.
