Xiaomi released Mi Note

We are glad to introduce to your attention a new smartphone from Xiaomi - Mi Note. The device has curved edges on 2.5D + 3D Gorilla Glass 3 screen. This display is extremely durable and resistant to scratches.

Well, let's take a closer look at the novelty Mi Note!

The device is equipped with 2.7 inch Full HD screen, positioned by the manufacturer as 2.5D. This mysterious designation means protective glass Gorilla Glass 3 slightly curved at the edges. In general, this is a top-class device with characteristics of the mid-late 2014 with 16 GB of internal memory.

As it w has been mentioned before, the smartpad got a 5.7-inch screen with a resolution of 1920x1080 pixels (387 ppi). Design of the device is similat to a design of the flagship Mi4. The thickness of the housing is only 6.95 mm. For comparison, the thickness of Apple iPhone 6 Plus is equal to 7.1 mm with a screen diagonal of 5.5 inches. Side frames of Mi Note are very small - only 2 mm.

The dimensions of Mi Note are 155,1 x 77,6 mm. The device is equipped with quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor with a frequency of 2.5 GHz and Adreno 330 graphics accelerator, 3 GB of RAM and 16/64 GB of internal memory. Smartpad has a dual slot for SIM-cards (microSIM and nanoSIM), each of which supports data transfer networks LTE, and the main 13-megapixel CMOS-camera Sony IMX214 with an aperture of f / 2.0 and the optical image stabilization system. On board the smartphone there is also a 4-megapixel front-facing camera UltraPixel from HTC with a pixel size 2 μm.

Xiaomi Mi Note works on a battery with a capacity of 3000 mAh. The device supports QuickCharge 2.0 for faster recharge of the battery. Mi Note has ESS ES9018K2M DAC paired with two AMP-OPA1612 chips from Texas Instruments. Together they provide Hi-Fi audio sound and a support for tracks of a format lossless 24-bit / 192 KHz. Unfortunately, the manufacturer did not specify the version of the operating system. It is assumed that "out of the box" Mi Note will work on MIUI 6 installed on top of Android 5.0 Lollipop.
