Xiaomi Launched Mi TV 4A

One of the main aspects that separate Xiaomi from the competition is its desire to make modern technologies affordable for everyone. And that relates not only to minor household devices or wearable electronics. TV-sets were included into the cheap-and-cheerful package as well. Yesterday Xiaomi launched a series of new TVs dubbed as Mi TV 4A. Although not so much time has passed since Mi TV 4 release but Xiaomi has managed to implement a few smart improvements that make things interesting. Mi TV 4A bunch consists of four modifications with four different screen-sizes (43″, 49″, 55″ and 65″) and two supported video formats (full HD for 43″ and 49″, 4K for 55″ and 65″.)

The whole world continues to call a television a TV-set when it is has been long known no more as a chubby TV-box with bulky antennas and all sorts of tuners but a giant all-mighty single-operating slim monitor. Each Mi TV 4A model is slim. Well, not the same way slim as Mi TV 4 that was presented at CES 2017, yet it squeezes into today’s slimness standards. Another plus is that all of the four new TV’s barely have any bezels around the display.

This new fantastic Mi TV-four is equipped with 1.5GHz 64-bit quad-core Amlogic T962 paired with 750MHz Mali 450 and boards 2GB DDR4 RAM and 32GB of flash-memory. They all support HDR10, UHD HLG and Dolby Vision.

All Mi TV 4A models have pretty standard connectivity options, including dual-band Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.2. But they hit it out of the park with a blue light filtering mode, smart content recommendation system called PatchWall and voice search. The latter option is not available for a 43-incher, unfortunately.

All four also ship with Bluetooth-enabled remote that sports an IR-blaster to control other devices.
