Redmi Note 5 and Redmi Note 5 Pro First Details

Xiaomi finally officially presented the new Redmi Note 5 and Redmi Note 5 Pro in India.

Redmi Note 5 is a rebranding of Redmi 5 Plus for India. He also received a 5.99-inch display with a resolution of 2160 × 1080 pixels with rounded corners and curved 2.5D glass. Inside there is Qualcomm® Snapdragon ™ 625 chipset with 3 GB or 4 GB of RAM and 32 GB or 64 GB of flash memory to choose from. The primary camera on the back panel is a 12MP, f / 2.2, and on the front panel is a 5-megapixel selfie camera with LED flash.

The phone comes with MIUI 9, based on Android 7.0 Nougat. It is powered by a 4000 mAh battery, but without fast charging and with a simple micro USB connector.
Redmi Note 5 will be available in four colors: black, gold, pink gold, and blue.

Redmi Note 5 Pro is a completely new device making its debut in India. It has the same 5.99-inch display as the Redmi Note 5, but a new Snapdragon 636 chip with 4 + 4 Kryo 260 processor with a max speed 1.8GHz on ARM Cortex technology and an Adreno 509 graphics processor.

Snapdragon 636, designed to support advanced photography and improved games, boasts long battery life and fast LTE speed for smartphones with a Snapdragon X12 LTE modem for transfer rates up to 600 Mbps GHz.
The phone was announced with a new feature Face Unlock, which make it the first in the Xiaomi family with this technology.

It has the same 4000 mAh battery as the Redmi Note 5, and again has no fast charging and no USB-C. It gets MIUI 9 on Android Nougat. Redmi Note 5 Pro will also be available in four colors: black, gold, pink gold and blue.
