MIUI 6 is available for Xiaomi smartphones now!

Xiaomi released a new version of its Android based MIUI shell. As usually, it’s a kind of little masterpiece of Asian designers and programmers.

MIUI installed on Xiaomi’s flagship device MI4, which released by company last spring. Other gadgets of premium brands will receive new MIUI soon, as developers promise.

New MIUI interface is laconic, filled with thin lines, simple forms, flat icons and warm colors. New trends of web design came into MIUI concept.

Clock widget uses parallax effect, notification icons looks like web ones.

Player, gallery, camera widgets were totally redesigned and obtain modern look and wider functionality.

Now notification about phone events such as incoming call or SMS available to user even in camera interface.

MIUI 6 brings to users more security options. Filter for unwanted, unknown and service calls protects users from annoying advertising.

Home screen now supports new gestures and Notification Shade with useful interface toggles.

Now MIUI supports themes. Users can choose unique theme from about 5 000 ones, created by fans and professional designers.

A new revisions of Calendar and Mail apps came with new MIUI.

MIUI 6 provides a closer collaboration with web services. Online music, movies, social media, life services, shopping and other stuff received more integration to smartphone interface.

As usually, new ROM supports online storage MI Cloud.

Now MIUI 6 available for MI phones only. But very soon, as developers say, other smartphones get a support for MIUI shell.
