Huami Announced Amazfit Health Band

Huami is Xiaomi’s subsidiary responsible for fitness accessories manufacture. Remember Mi Band and Mi Band 2? Well, although they are sold under name Xiaomi, they are actually produced by Huami. Mi Band became one of the most popular fitness-trackers ever made, making Huami the second largest manufacturer of smart wearable devices.

Outside of Mi Bands Huami has its own fitness-tracker line called Amazfit. The upgrade of the line is going to reach stores soon and they named it Amazfit Health Band.

What sets this upcoming wearable fitness gizmo apart from the rest of the crowd is its ability to monitor heart rate variability, which is the variability of durations between all of your heartbeats. More detail about your heart activity, not just the standard heart rate, allows the band to predict and warn you of any possible illnesses. The device can tell whether you are tired and can give recommendations on whether to continue exercising or sit down for a while. All data can be seen on a 0.42-inch OLED display or in the companion app.

The housing of the Amazfit Health Band is made out of aluminum and stainless steel and has IP67 protection, which means it is splash and dust-resistant. Its 19-mm band features hypoallergenic silicone. Huami offers three colors for its capsule: black, blue and gold. The color of the band will remain black in all three.

The new Amazfit fitness tracker draws power from a non-removable 95mAh battery that can work for up to 7 days between the charges.
